Every therapeutic relationship is unique, an encounter between two people attempting to think and achieve understanding together. I believe that a supportive, warm, and respectful therapeutic approach creates a safe bond which enables an open and free exchange. A central goal of therapy is to bring about a richer and fuller sense of connection to self and others and to find meaning and satisfaction in one's life. People come to therapy seeking change. My experience has taught me that people have a tremendous ability to grow and develop. Stagnation can be replaced by growth, and despair can be replaced by open horizons.
