Dear colleague/friend,
Following you'll find basic info on the listserv for the
International Network for Psychological Perspectives on Same-Gender
Sexual Orientation and Transgender Diversity. The listserv has the
short name INET, and is hosted by the American Psychological
Association (APA). It started in November 2001 and is the fruit of
longstanding discussion, a conference, and the spirit of many
enthousiastic people. It is open to all those who have an interest in
the goals of the list, and has over 150 subscribers from at least 14
countries.
THE GOALS OF INET
The listserv is provided in order to strengthen global ties among
psychologists and mental health workers concerned with same gender
sexual orientation and transgender issues. The goal of the list is to
advance understanding through the exchange of information and ideas
and through the provision of mutual support in professional practice
and research. We hope that encouraging and improving communications
between psychologists and mental health workers internationally will
support local efforts and provide a forum through which useful
information can be disseminated. Ultimately, the aim is to advance
same gender sexual orientation and transgender concerns in psychology.
JOINING INET
We would like INET to arouse your thoughts and creativity and become
a source of interest and support. We'd be delighted if you'd join
